Our Mission Statement

We at ALP Business School inspire, prepare, and empower students to succeed in a changing world.

This means:

• We inspire students to learn and to develop as whole people: intellectually, professionally, and personally
• We inspire students to continue learning throughout life, recognising that professional development is an ongoing journey
• We prepare and empower students to be successful by helping them develop the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to enter or progress within the workforce, to transfer to bachelor or postgraduate level qualifications, and to adapt and thrive in our increasingly diverse and ever-changing professional world
• We deliver high-quality education and training services, appropriate to the lifelong learning needs and aspirations of our learners, through both online and on-campus delivery in partnership with recognised UK awarding organisations

Our Ethos

Our ethos seeks to help establish a context for enlightened and effective learning, and to help build an appropriate working and learning environment for the ALP Business School community. It seeks to ensure that students are treated as mature individuals and are allocated as much responsibility as is possible and practicable, including an active role in decisions that affect them.

In addition to being provided with the best possible learning experiences, students are to be given every opportunity to develop personal and professional skills and, generally, to derive the maximum benefits from their ALP Business School experience. We believe that adult learners thrive when given autonomy, respect, and meaningful engagement with their educational journey.

Our approach recognises that many of our students are experienced professionals balancing work, family, and study commitments. We therefore create a supportive, flexible learning environment that acknowledges students' existing expertise whilst challenging them to expand their knowledge and capabilities. We empower learners to take ownership of their educational progress whilst providing expert guidance and support when needed.
